Cynthia Lysen

Cynthia Lysen is an experienced professional in research administration training, currently serving as the Senior Communications, Education, and Training Manager at Fred Hutch since October 2000. In the role of Office of Sponsored Research Training Manager, Lysen is responsible for a curriculum featuring 17 courses and specializes in developing and delivering both instructor-led and computer-based training designed to provide compliance and task-specific knowledge. Previous positions include Research Education Lead and Research Education Specialist, as well as roles as a Grants Specialist and Research Coordinator. Lysen began her career as a Secondary Language Arts Teacher after earning a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education - Language Arts from Concordia University, Nebraska.
