Kristen Grey Sanders

Kristen Grey Sanders is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in philanthropy and communications. Currently serving as Program Director for Philanthropy Leadership Projects at Fred Hutch since June 2022, Kristen collaborates with the philanthropy leadership team to transform broad ideas into actionable plans for strategic initiatives. Previous roles include Senior Manager of External Communication and Senior Director of Development Communications at Swedish, where Kristen led significant projects such as a $20M bequest announcement and a COVID-19 crisis communication response. At Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Kristen advanced from Coordinator of the Hutch Holiday Gala to Director of Marketing, Communications, and Operations for Obliteride, successfully overseeing major fundraising events. Kristen holds a BA in Communication from Washington State University.
