Laurie Normandeau

Laurie Normandeau is an experienced professional with a diverse background in outdoor and experiential education. Currently serving as the Office Coordinator at Boulder Journey School since May 2022, Laurie also holds positions as an Instructor with Outward Bound USA and a Trekking Guide with Sherpa Mountain Adventures since 2014. At Boulder Rock Club, Laurie has contributed as both a Lead Instructor and Program Manager for YogaFit, fostering inclusive climbing and yoga programs while supporting community initiatives. Volunteer efforts with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center focus on fundraising for breast cancer research through high-profile climbing projects. Laurie has previously served as a Young Adult Membership Specialist for The Colorado Mountain Club and an Educator for the Youth Education Program, emphasizing adventure education. Academic credentials include an Associate's Degree in Physical Education and Sports Management from UMass and an Associate's Degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Keene State College.
