Mary Grace Katusiime

Mary Grace Katusiime, PhD, is currently serving as the Career Exploration and Workforce Development Program Manager at Fred Hutch, where responsibilities include supporting pre-baccalaureate programming and managing data infrastructure. Previously, at the National Cancer Institute, Mary held positions as Co-Chair of the Center for Cancer Research Fellows & Young Investigators Steering Committee and Postdoctoral Visiting Research Fellow in HIV Cure Research, focusing on translational research and fostering an environment for trainee success. Additional experience includes teaching as an Adjunct Professor at Hood College and conducting significant research at Stellenbosch University, University of Pittsburgh, and North-West University, culminating in a PhD in Medical Virology. Mary's work has contributed to advancements in virology and HIV research, highlighted by published findings and the development of diagnostic assays.
