Vanessa Longacre-Wilcox

Vanessa Longacre-Wilcox is an experienced professional with a strong background in project management and leadership. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Project Management and Planning at Fred Hutch since December 2018, Vanessa has held multiple roles within the organization, including Director of Project Management and Senior Project Manager. Prior experience includes serving as the President of the Board of Trustees at the Community School of West Seattle, where Vanessa contributed to the development of the school's vision and strategic plan. Previous roles at Microsoft encompassed various positions, such as Site Manager and Project Manager, focusing on online training modules and event management. Additionally, a background in counseling was established at Valley Counseling Associates. Vanessa holds a Certificate in Project Management from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in Counseling from the Leadership Institute of Seattle, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College.
