Stephen Babcock

Stephen Babcock has extensive experience in safety management and law enforcement. Currently serving as Safety Director at Fred Smith Company since March 2023, Stephen previously held the role of Safety Manager at the same company. Prior to this, Stephen worked as Assistant DOT Compliance Manager at Barnhill Contracting Company and as a Safety Specialist at Fred Smith Company. Experience also includes a brief tenure as Safety Manager at PLT Construction Company and over a decade at S.T. Wooten Corporation in roles such as Learning and Development Coordinator and Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator. Earlier in career, Stephen served in various capacities at Wilson County Sheriff's Office, including Criminal Investigator and Deputy Sheriff.
