Deborah Moore

Deborah Moore currently serves as the Interim Manager of CreditSmart Coach at Freddie Mac since June 2024. With a longstanding commitment to community development, Deborah has been a board member at Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corporation since April 2003 and at the Foundation of Homan Square since April 2019. Deborah's consulting work in community development spans from August 2022 to August 2024. Previously, Deborah held the position of Director of Neighborhood Strategy and Planning at Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago from October 2010 to August 2024 and served as Commissioner for Special Service Area #32 from January 2002 to October 2010. Deborah's early career includes a role as Associate Director of Neighborhood Strategy at Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago from October 1996 to October 2010. Deborah holds an M.S. in Affordable Housing and Real Estate Development from Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership, completed in 1995.
