Chip Jewell has extensive work experience in the field of emergency services and insurance. Chip started their career in 1979 at Frederick Underwriters, where they worked in the insurance sector until 1999. In 2006, they joined the Frederick County Maryland Government as the Director of Frederick Country Emergency Communications. In 2009, they became a member and past president of the Frederick County Fire & Rescue Museum. Since 2014, Chip has been serving as the Director/Chief of the Division of Volunteer Fire & Rescue Services.
