Peter T. Crawford

Peter T. Crawford has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Peter T. is currently serving as the Vice President of Architecture, Environment, and Technology at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park since September 2021. Prior to this, Peter was the New Store Design Project Manager at Meijer from October 2016 to September 2021.

Before joining Meijer, Peter worked as a Senior Landscape Architect/Project Manager at Abel Bainnson Butz, LLP from December 2012 to October 2016. Peter T. also gained valuable experience as a Landscape Architect/Project Manager at P.E.L.A. Design, Inc. Landscape Architects from April 2011 to December 2012 and at Thornapple River Nursery from May 2010 to March 2011.

In the early years of their career, Peter worked as an Associate Landscape Architect at M. C. Smith Associates from May 2006 to January 2010. Peter T. also served as a Crew Member at Kappes Landscapes in 2005 and as an Intern at RMT from January 2002 to August 2003.

Peter T. Crawford completed their education with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture with Honors from Michigan State University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Prior to this, they attended Grand Valley State University from 2002 to 2004, focusing on Pre-Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Peter obtained certification as a Landscape Architect from the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards in October 2013. Peter T. also obtained the LEED AP Building Design & Construction (BD+C) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council in 2010.
