Jefferson Westwood has extensive work experience in the field of arts administration. Jefferson began their career in 1976 as a Graduate Assistant at Michigan State University, where they worked until 1978. In 1982, they joined SUNY Fredonia as the Director of Rockefeller Arts Center, a role they held for over three decades until 2013. Throughout their career, Westwood has focused on managing and directing arts organizations.
Jefferson Westwood earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama and Speech from Tufts University in 1971. Jefferson later obtained a Master of Arts degree in Communication from Michigan State University between 1976 and 1978.
