M. Silvina Stietz

M. Silvina Stietz is a Research and Development Scientist at FREDsense Technologies since October 2020. Prior to this role, M. Silvina Stietz served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Calgary from January 2017 to December 2019, focusing on the investigation of the bacterial type VI secretion system, which is significant in Gram-negative pathogens and host-microbe interactions. M. Silvina Stietz also held a Postdoctoral Fellow position at the University of Manitoba from September 2014 to December 2016, where the main project involved evaluating electron transfer flavoprotein as a potential target against Burkholderia cenocepacia. M. Silvina Stietz earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Epidemiology-Microbiology from the University of Buenos Aires between 2009 and 2014 and a Bachelor's degree in Genetics from Universidad Nacional de Misiones from 2003 to 2008.
