Danny segal

Danny Segal has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Danny is currently working as the Creative Director at Free Fly Apparel. Prior to this, they launched their own consultancy business called Segal Studio in 2018, where they provided brand consulting and fractional leadership to purpose-driven brands such as The Golfer's Journal, Rothy's, Outside Inc., and Huckberry.

In 2022, Danny took on the role of Senior Director, Brand at Rothy's and also served as the Global Creative Director (Fractional) at LifeLabs Design, Inc. During their time at LifeLabs, they led the creative and marketing efforts, successfully launching their e-commerce business and driving significant company growth. Their work earned recognition, with LifeLabs being named one of Fast Company's 2022 World-Changing Ideas in Climate.

From 2019 to 2022, Danny served as the Creative Director at Huckberry, where they played a critical role in restructuring and expanding the internal creative team. Under their leadership, Huckberry experienced exceptional growth and became a leading men's retailer and online journal.

Before their roles in the apparel industry, Danny gained experience in brand strategy and planning at Edelman as the Head of Brand Strategy and Planning for the Pacific Northwest region. Danny worked with renowned brands such as Microsoft, Starbucks, REI, Viking River Cruises, and VW.

Prior to Edelman, Danny worked at Ketchum Public Relations as a Senior Account Executive, supporting Fortune 500 consumer brands and government clients. Danny also played a significant role in developing the strategy and planning team at Ketchum through their creation of the internal insights network.

Danny's early career included working in the digital media field as the Digital Media Lead for Congressman Robert A. Brady in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Danny Segal has a B.S. degree in Kinesiological Science from the School of Public Health at the University of Maryland.
