Andre Green serves as the Executive Director of SkillWorks at The Boston Foundation, overseeing a nationally recognized workforce development initiative that has invested over $30 million in innovative strategies, benefiting more than 7,000 individuals. As a School Committee Member for Ward 4 in Somerville Public Schools since January 2016, Andre has held various leadership roles, including Committee Chair and Vice Chair, while also participating in the Somerville Learns 2030 Steering Committee. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Director of FairTest, Political Director at MASSCreative, and Senior Manager for Field Mobilization at YouthBuild USA, among others. Andre's educational background includes a BA in Political Science and Psychology from Bard College at Simon's Rock, with current studies in a Master of Public Policy program at Tufts University.
