Brooke DeFosse, PharmD, NBC-HWC has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Brooke currently serves as the Director of Referral Operations at Free Market Health, a company that supports payers and specialty pharmacies in navigating the complex healthcare market. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at Wayspring, including Director of Intellectual Property Enablement and Clinical Product Development and Relationship Management. Brooke'sresponsibilities at Wayspring entailed developing clinical decision support platforms for pain management and opioid prescribing, as well as providing evidence-based clinical support and reporting for various healthcare stakeholders. Before joining Wayspring, Brooke worked as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Walgreens and as a PGY1 Managed Care Pharmacy Resident at the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services/The University of Tennessee.

Brooke DeFosse, PharmD, NBC-HWC, completed their Bachelor's degree in Pre-Pharmacy Studies at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 2007 to 2011. Following their undergraduate education, they attended The University of Tennessee Health Science Center from 2011 to 2015, where they were a Student Pharmacist and obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree. In terms of additional certifications, Brooke obtained the National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach designation from the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching in August 2019. Additionally, they received their Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certification from the American Pharmacy Association in January 2012. In August 2013, Brooke also obtained the American Heart Association Health Care Provider Life Support certification.
