Charles Bryan

Charles Bryan's work experience begins with their current role as the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Analytics at Free Market Health since 2022.

Prior to their current position, they worked as an Independent Healthcare Consultant at Compassus from 2020 to 2022. In this role, they provided expertise in healthcare analytics, data strategy, population health, and value-based care. Charles supported a large hospice/palliative/home health company in launching a value-based program focused on clinical process engineering and data integration.

From 2018 to 2020, Bryan served as the SVP of Analytics at axialHealthcare. Charles led healthcare analytics, business intelligence, data science, and statistics functions. Charles co-engineered a Medicare pilot program related to provider opioid prescribing and led analytical efforts for a new program focused on Substance Use Disorder.

Bryan also worked as the VP of Analytics at axialHealthcare from 2016 to 2018. In this role, they led BI/reporting, healthcare analytics, and medical economics functions. Charles designed and delivered analytical organization and service delivery models and supported client consultation efforts.

From 2014 to 2016, they held the position of VP of Business Analytics at naviHealth, Inc. Charles led all data management functions and served as the product owner for client-facing analytic solutions. Charles also built and led a team of business intelligence and analytics resources.

Prior to that, Bryan worked as the Director of Business Analytics at PathGroup from 2011 to 2013. Charles built and led a team of corporate business intelligence and analytics resources and implemented a new customer engagement strategy. Charles was also responsible for designing and delivering a data warehouse platform.

At Healthways, Bryan held multiple roles from 2007 to 2011. Charles served as the Senior Product Portfolio Manager, Senior Director of Business Technology, Web Development and Operations, Senior Director of Value Assurance, and Director of Business Technology Account Management. In these roles, they oversaw product development, web development and operations, IT leadership, and project delivery.

Earlier in their career, Bryan worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Nissan North America, a Summer Intern at Dell, a Senior Web Products Analyst at TSYS, and an Operations Manager at Knology.

Overall, Bryan has extensive experience in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, data management, and leadership roles across various industries, including healthcare, technology, and telecommunications.

Charles Bryan pursued their education in a chronological order, starting with Lehigh University in 1991 to 1992. During this period, they studied architecture. Following this, from 1993 to 1997, Bryan attended Auburn University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems. To further enhance their knowledge and skillset, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management, specializing in Finance and Operations, from 2004 to 2006.
