Joe Cardosi

Joe Cardosi has a diverse work experience spanning the healthcare industry. Joe founded Free Market Health in 2019, a company based in Pittsburgh that supports payers and specialty pharmacies. Prior to that, Joe worked at AllianceRx Walgreens Prime as the Vice President of Payer Strategy & Sales in 2017. Joe was responsible for developing and executing payer strategy and leading provider sales. From 2013 to 2017, Joe served as a Senior Strategic Account Manager at Walgreens where they managed key clients, focused on specialty and infusion pharmacy, and expanded profitable access. Before that, they worked at Gateway Health as the Manager of Pharmacy Business Administration from 2010 to 2013, overseeing industry relations, formulary stewardship, and specialty pharmacy and home infusion provider contracting. Joe started their career as a Clinical Pharmacist at Accredo - An Express Scripts Company in 2009.

Joe Cardosi completed their education at Duquesne University, where they obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from 2003 to 2009. Joe later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the same university, graduating in 2012.
