Herman Veerbeek

Herman Veerbeek serves as the Head of Specialized Products, Restructuring & Litigation at ING since September 2012, overseeing areas such as asset-based lending and corporate investments. Additionally, Herman currently holds the position of Global Head a.i. Legal Wholesale Banking and is an active member of various boards and committees, including the Supervisory Board at Free Press Unlimited and the Executive Committee of the EU Federation for the Factoring and Commercial Finance Industry. With previous experience as General Counsel at ING Lease Holding NV and extensive involvement in pro bono initiatives and legal committees, Herman is well-versed in public interest litigation and corporate legal matters. Herman's educational background includes postgraduate degrees in European and insolvency law, complemented by a master's degree in international and European law.
