Jana Rashed

Jana Rashed is a multi-faceted professional actively engaged in various roles focused on climate advocacy and communication. Currently serving as a social media designer and content writer at Climate Sirens, a marketing communication coordinator at RCOY MENA, and a fellow in the Climate Change Fellowship for Journalists at Free Press Unlimited, Jana is producing a documentary on youth-led climate initiatives in Lebanon. Additionally, Jana holds positions as a youth climate advocate with UNICEF Lebanon, facilitator at Climate Fresk, and director of communications for the Young Arab Feminists Coalition. Previous experiences include a media and communication internship at UNRWA, where Jana contributed to a cash-for-work project, and serving as a social media ambassador for Anera, an organization supporting refugees in the region. Jana is also the founder of LEARN. SUSTAIN, a non-profit organization dedicated to environmental sustainability, and has coordinated community programs for youth and refugees during a prior role at UNICEF Lebanon. Jana holds a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture from Beirut Arab University.
