Laura Dell has a diverse work experience in the field of game development and software engineering.

Laura started their career as a Program Participant in the Lockheed Martin College Work Experience Program from October 2009 to August 2011. Laura then pursued a Study Abroad program at Jönköping University in Jönköping from August to December 2011.

Laura worked as a Web Developer at Via Response Technologies from January to August 2012.

Laura joined GREE International, Inc in September 2013 as a Software Engineering Intern, where they worked on the client-side iOS development for Call to Arms, a mobile Real-Time Strategy game. Laura implemented UI features, developed a Mac application for unit testing PvP battle results, and utilized it to detect false results. Laura later took on the role of Software Engineer from January 2014 to July 2015 and further advanced to Senior Software Engineer from July 2015 to February 2016.

In 2016, Laura joined Motion Math as a Game Developer, where they led the Unity development team in porting 6 original iOS games to Unity in 9 months. Laura also designed and implemented gameplay for new games and developed a set of reusable systems.

Laura then joined King in October 2017 as a Senior Game Developer. Laura worked on developing gameplay features for a canceled title using Unity, including quest and narrative systems. Additionally, they collaborated with a small team to build HTML5 games for messenger platforms using TypeScript with Cocos2d-JS, where they implemented gameplay and designed data schemas. Laura contributed to games such as Team Tower, Celebrity Story, and the canceled title.

Recently, Laura Dell has been working as a Senior Developer at Free Range Games since June 2019.

Laura Dell earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Interactive Entertainment from the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy, which they completed between 2012 and 2013.
