Andrew Pinski

Andrew Pinski is a Sr. Staff Engineer at Qualcomm, with a long-standing role as a GCC Maintainer at the Free Software Foundation since June 2002. Previous experience includes serving as a Principal Engineer and Staff Manager for Tool Chain and Automation at Marvell Semiconductor, and Group Manager at Cavium Inc., where oversight of engineers on GCC, LLVM, and math libraries was critical. In earlier roles, Andrew contributed as a Sr. Compiler Engineer at Sony Computer Entertainment America, maintaining the GCC toolchain for the PS3, and held internships at Apple and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where significant development work in compiler optimization and DNA sequence processing was accomplished. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati.
