Pádraig Brady

Pádraig Brady is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in core development and open-source contributions. Currently serving as the coreutils maintainer at GNU since September 2008, Pádraig has focused on improving essential utilities such as ls, cp, rm, and sort. Between December 2015 and February 2023, Pádraig worked at Meta, leading the design, build, and deployment of the company's backend operating system while also contributing to AI infrastructure tooling and performance tuning. Additionally, Pádraig gained valuable experience at Red Hat from September 2011 to December 2015, where the role involved open source cloud services. Pádraig holds a BEng. in Electronics from Dublin City University.
