Angela Gomez currently serves as the Director of Development Major Gifts and Institutional Giving at Free Wheelchair Mission, a humanitarian nonprofit focused on providing durable wheelchairs to developing countries. Since joining in November 2013, Angela has contributed to significant fundraising efforts and major donor engagement. Previously, Angela held the position of Donor Development Officer at Free Wheelchair Mission from 2005 to 2013, leading initiatives to cultivate major donors. Angela's experience also includes serving as Community Director for the March of Dimes Orange County Division, where responsibilities included fundraising and community engagement, and as Marketing Manager for P.J.’s PIZZA, overseeing marketing strategies for multiple restaurant locations. Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton.

In collaboration with a network of like-minded partners, Free Wheelchair Mission has distributed more than one million wheelchairs to those in need in 93 countries around the world, providing renewed dignity, independence, and hope through the gift of mobility, at no cost to the recipient. Free Wheelchair Mission is currently on a mission to provide their next million wheelchairs by 2025.
