Owen Turner

Owen Turner is a Staff Data Scientist at FreeAgent, where they focus on machine learning approaches to bank transaction categorization. Prior to this role, Owen served as a Senior Data Scientist at FreeAgent from 2018 to 2023. They also worked as a Pre-IB teacher and counsellor at ISSOS International in 2018, and gained experience at Capgemini Consulting as an IT Analyst in 2009. Owen holds a PhD in Galaxy Formation and Evolution from the Royal Observatory, Edinburgh, and previously completed a first-class honours MPhys degree in Astrophysics from The University of Edinburgh.
