Michael Romano

Michael Romano is an experienced development professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Development at FREECITY GROUP since September 2024. Prior to this role, Michael held positions as Development Director at Mirvac from April 2019 to June 2024 and at Crown Group Holdings Pty Limited between October 2013 and April 2019. Michael’s early career includes significant roles at Lendlease and Devine Limited as Senior Development Manager, as well as Development Manager at Baracon. Michael began in the real estate sector as a Real Estate Sales Assistant at Chambers Real Estate in 1999. Academic credentials include an MBA Executive from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance & Investment from KAPLAN / FINSIA, and a Bachelor of Business (Property) from RMIT University, along with other related qualifications.
