David Newberry

David Newberry has a diverse work experience in the religious sector. David started their career as a Minister at Laurel Church of Christ in 1982 and served until 1996. In 1996, they transitioned to a new role as an Assistant Vice-President at Freed-Hardeman University. Simultaneously, they also held the position of Involvement and Education Minister at Campbell Street Church of Christ from 1996 to 2013.

David Newberry earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication, General from Freed-Hardeman University, which they attended from 1974 to 1978. David further pursued their education at Lipscomb University, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Religion from 1988 to 1993.
