Rachel Lau is a Senior Associate at Freedman Consulting, LLC, and serves as an author of the United States Freedom on the Net report for Freedom House. Previously held roles include Macroeconomics Mentor/Grader at Pomona College, where responsibilities included designing mentorship plans and grading, and a Phillip Bevington Policy & Research Intern at Freedman Consulting. Rachel has extensive experience in political advocacy, having worked as a Field Coordinator for Activate America, and has contributed to community health initiatives as a Health Advocate with HealthBridges. Early career experiences also include interning for Congressman Adam Smith and leading summer camps at Open Window School. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Politics from Pomona College.
