Marvin Herrera

Marvin Herrera is a seasoned welding engineer and educator with extensive experience in the manufacturing field. At Freedman Seating Company since August 2014, Marvin has held multiple roles including Welding Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer Technician, Working Lead, and Welder. Additionally, Marvin serves as an Engineering Technology Adjunct at Triton College since January 2024 and previously worked as an Adjunct Welding Instructor at City Colleges of Chicago-Richard J Daley College from January 2018 to January 2024, where Marvin was a Lincoln Electric NC3 Certified Instructor in various welding processes and an American Welding Society Certified Welding Educator. Marvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management & Applied Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and an Associate Degree in Advanced Manufacturing from City Colleges of Chicago-Richard J Daley College.
