Will O'Connor

Will O'Connor is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in product development and design engineering, currently serving as the Lead Engineer of New Product Development at Freedman Seating Company. Since October 2013, Will has led cross-functional teams to successfully launch seating lines, adapting designs to meet evolving market needs while leveraging expertise in dynamic and electrical systems, industrial design, and manufacturing processes. Previous roles include Design Engineer and Project Engineer, where Will demonstrated proficiency in optimizing designs for manufacturability and enhancing product features. Prior to Freedman Seating Company, Will gained valuable experience at Caterpillar Inc. and Kohler Co., focusing on improving performance and efficiency in engineering processes. Will holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
