Sonia Boyle

Sonia Boyle is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at Freedom Australia since July 2023. Previously, Sonia held the same position at Greenlit Brands from May 2018 to June 2023 and at Steinhoff Asia Pacific from May 2011 to May 2018. Earlier in the career, Sonia worked as a Legal Counsel at BT from 2004 to 2011, a Solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills from 2002 to 2004, and began as an Articled Clerk at Hunt & Hunt Lawyers from 2000 to 2002. Sonia holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from The University of Queensland, where studies were completed between 1995 and 1999 for the LLB and 1995 to 1997 for the BA. Secondary education was completed at St Aidan's Anglican Girls' School from 1989 to 1993.
