Neil McArthur

Neil McArthur has had a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several decades. Neil is currently the Founder and CEO of Freedom Fibre, a company focused on pushing the boundaries of FTTP (Fiber to the Premises). Prior to this, Neil served as the CEO of Fibrenation, a FTTP startup backed by TalkTalk, and then continued to lead the company after it was acquired by CityFibre. Neil has also held various roles within TalkTalk, including Group Innovation Director and Managing Director of Networks at Carphone Warehouse. In the 1980s, Neil was the CEO of Opal, leading its merger with Carphone to create TalkTalk in 2002, and subsequently ran its technology division for 8 years. Neil has also held leadership positions at Thurnall PLC and British Nuclear Fuels plc earlier in their career. Neil McArthur's work experience showcases their expertise in telecommunications, technology, and innovation.

Neil McArthur attended the University of Essex from 1976 to 1979, where they studied Computer and Telecommunication Engineering and obtained a BSC (Hons) degree.
