Benjamin Tarsa

Director, Publishing at Freedom Games

Benjamin Tarsa has held a variety of roles in the gaming industry since 2010. In 2010, they were a Graduate Associate for Instructional Technology at the Georgetown Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS). In 2011, they held the role of Research Assistant for Social Development and Wikis at The Saylor Foundation, as well as a Teaching Assistant - Critical Perspectives on Video Games at Georgetown University. From 2013 to 2019, they were a Marketing and Business Manager and Marketing and Community Manager at Curse. In 2019, they were a Director of Gaming at FANDOM, and currently holds the role of Director of Publishing at Freedom Games. As Director of Publishing, their role is to ensure the pipeline of titles proceeds smoothly from the moment developers sign, all the way through a game's launch and beyond. Benjamin also assists in managing planning and execution of releases, events, PR, and other aspects of the publishing process.

Benjamin Tarsa completed a Master of Arts in Communication, Culture, and Technology from Georgetown University in 2012, following their Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2010.
