Syed Shah

Syed Shah, BCE, MBA, possesses over 14 years of progressive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as the Manager of Wireless Network Operations at Freedom Mobile since August 2009. In this role, Syed oversees 24X7 operations for 3G, LTE, and 5G in Eastern Canada. Previous positions include Senior Supervisor for Core Maintenance and Transmission, where Syed led the core network operations team, successfully launching a network in the Ottawa region. Additionally, Syed has engaged in academic leadership as the Director of Fundraising for the MBA Student Association at the Telfer School of Management and as a board member representing MBASA at GSAÉD. Earlier career experience includes roles at Rogers Communications and Ufone 4G, focusing on core operations and roaming services. Syed earned an MBA in Management Consulting from the Telfer School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad.
