Jay Patel, CPA, is an accomplished audit executive with extensive experience in internal audit and compliance. Currently serving as the SVP and Chief Audit Executive at Freedom Mortgage since March 2021, Jay has successfully transitioned internal control environments to align with the COSO 2013 framework. Prior roles include Vice President of Internal Audit at Freedom Mortgage, Manager of Internal Audit at Radian, and Internal Audit Manager at CDI Corporation. Jay's career began at Dhirubhai Shah & Co LLP as an Assistant Audit Manager. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration in Finance from La Salle University and a Master of Commerce in Accounting, along with a Bachelor of Commerce in Advanced Accounting and Auditing, both from Gujarat University.
