Kathleen Furgason

Kathleen Furgason has extensive experience in the mortgage industry, currently serving as Post Closing and Audit Supervisor at Freedom Mortgage since January 1991, where responsibilities include auditing and preparing loans for purchase from the MINI-C Lender. Prior to this role, Kathleen was involved in various positions including Analyst and Audit Supervisor, and from January 1991 to August 2022, focused on underwriting and quality assurance in a similar capacity. Kathleen previously worked as an Underwriter at Irwin Mortgage and Accubank from October 1999 to April 2006, and began a career in the optometry field as an Optician under Dr. David Tavel from August 1975 to September 1982. Kathleen holds an education from Ivy Tech Community College.
