Chris McDonald

Chris McDonald serves as Senior Counsel, Commercial at Freedom Solar Power since February 2024 and is a Charter Member of TechGC, an exclusive community for Deputy General Counsels established in June 2021. Previously, Chris held the position of Assistant General Counsel at Veev from August 2019 to November 2023 and practiced as an Associate Attorney at both McGuireWoods LLP (March 2018 - July 2019) and Phillips Spallas & Angstadt (December 2013 - February 2018). Chris earned a Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law (2010 - 2013) and a Bachelor of Science in Business with a minor in Spanish from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo (2005 - 2009), alongside a study abroad program focused on Spanish Language and Culture at Universidad del País Vasco in 2008.
