Deepak Pateriya

Deepak Pateriya currently serves as Senior Vice President for Program Strategy and Management at Freedom Together Foundation since February 2024. Previously, Deepak held the role of Managing Director at Community Change from May 2012 to June 2021, where Community Change focused on empowering low-income communities to advocate for economic, racial, and gender justice. This period also included leadership of Community Change Voters as Executive Director from January 2016 to May 2021, overseeing a significant political action committee aimed at increasing voter turnout in communities of color. Deepak co-founded Win Justice, a national voter engagement initiative, and has a history of organizing and campaigning with labor unions such as the United Food and Commercial Workers and SEIU. Additionally, Deepak served as Training Director and Lead Organizer at SCOPE, contributing to grassroots organizing for social justice, and was involved in national student organizing through the United States Student Association. Deepak earned a BA in Sociology from Miami University in 1991.
