Olli Vallo has worked in various roles in the education sector since 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they were a musician and from 2012 to 2013, they were a teacher at Ymmersta School in Espoo. In 2013, they became the Director of Edutainment at Songhi Entertainment, where they designed the in-game pedagogy and educational use of the music composing game. From 2015 to 2016, they were the CEO and Co-founder of Education Alliance Finland, where they developed a pedagogical quality evaluation method in collaboration with university researchers. In 2016, they became a Mentor at xEdu and in 2022, they will become the Head of Partnerships & Growth at Freeed and a Senior EdTech Evaluation Director (consultant) at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Olli is also currently a Doctoral student at the University of Helsinki, researching 'learning music through ICT assisted composing in elementary school music education'.
Olli Vallo obtained a Master's degree in Education from the University of Helsinki between 2005 and 2012.
