Nasos Bardis

Nasos Bardis has held various roles throughout their work experience. Nasos began their career at ABB Product Group Solar as an FEA/CFD Analyst from 1997 to 1998. Nasos then joined Honeywell Aerospace USA, where they served as a Sr Design Engineer, Lead Engineer, and Principle Project Engineer from 1999 to 2011. Following this, they worked at Eaton as a Product Engineering Manager and Sr Engineering Manager from 2011 to 2015. Bardis then joined ABB as a Director Of Engineering from 2015 to 2018. Nasos later worked at Safran as a Director of Project Engineering & Continuous Improvement, Director Of Engineering - Develop Process (Cabin), and finally as a Vice President of Engineering from 2018 to 2023. Currently, Bardis holds the position of Vice President of Engineering at FreeFlight Systems, where they are responsible for leading and coordinating new product development activities.

Nasos Bardis pursued their education at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1991 to 1995. Following that, they continued their studies at the same institution and earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering & Energy Studies from 1995 to 1997.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Nasos Bardis has acquired several certifications throughout their career. Some of these certifications include Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) from Safran obtained in July 2021, Lean 6Sigma Black Belt from ABB Product Group Solar obtained in February 2015, Project Management Certification from Honeywell obtained in April 2005, Design for 6Sigma Green Belt from Honeywell Aerospace obtained in June 2001, and Open Water Rescue Diver from PADI Instructors obtained in June 1999.
