Daniel Wasilewsky has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Daniel founded FreeGuides in 2018 and served as the Founder. In 2018, Daniel also worked at Tank Stream Labs as a Community Engagement and Marketing Coordinator, where they oversaw marketing strategy development, grew the existing business, improved member experience, and increased cohesion between members. Daniel later became the Head of Operations and Head of Business Development & Digital at Tank Stream Labs. Daniel also worked as an intern and intern's intern at Tank Stream Labs.

Additionally, Daniel served as a Program Coach at UTS Hatchery, aiding and facilitating the entrepreneurial program. Daniel was also an Innovation Intern at Ashurst, where they identified internal opportunities and developed a software solution for client centricity.

Daniel Wasilewsky completed their high school education at Moriah College from 2001 to 2013, earning a High School Certificate. During their time there, they achieved several awards and certifications, including an award for commitment, an award for school service, first place in Design and Technology in both 2012 and 2013, and first place in Food Technology in 2013. Daniel also completed Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training through NSW Health in 2013.
From 2014 to 2017, Daniel attended the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and obtained a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation. Their field of study was Marketing/Management. While at UTS, they received the UTS prize for Creative Intelligence in 2013 and was a finalist in the UTS pitch competition in 2015. Daniel also achieved first place in a VISA competition in 2015.
