Janine Pollock has a diverse work experience in the library and educational sectors. Janine has held various positions at the Free Library of Philadelphia, including Chief of Special Collections, Assistant Chief of the Central Public Services Division, Head of the Rare Book Department, and Head of the Print and Picture Collection. In these roles, they managed and developed training programs, highlighted the library's valuable collections, and oversaw various research departments. Additionally, Janine was a Partner/Franchisee at the School of Rock, where they opened and operated a school in Bucks County. Prior to that, they worked at the Free Library of Philadelphia as Head of The Workplace and Web Librarian. Janine also served as an Assistant Librarian for Pictorial Collections at the Chemical Heritage Foundation. Janine's work experience demonstrates their expertise in library management, training, and advocacy for valuable collections.
Janine Pollock completed their Bachelor of Arts in International Politics at Penn State University, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Subsequently, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Science and Technology from Drexel University, attending from 1996 to 1998.
