Karen Watts

Karen Watts has extensive experience in laboratory services and infection control within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Administrative Director of Laboratory Services, Medical Technologist, and Infection Control Officer at Freeman Health System since August 2011, Karen has been instrumental in addressing the significant threat of hospital-acquired infections (HAIs). Prior to this role, Karen worked at Advocate Health Care from 2006 to 2011 as an Infection Preventionist and Medical Technologist. Karen holds a degree in Medical Technology from St John's School of Medical Technology (2000-2001) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Missouri Southern State University (1995-1999).
