Freeman Spogli
Ronald P. Spogli co-founded Freeman Spogli in 1983. Previously, he was a Managing Director of Dean Witter Reynolds Inc.'s Los Angeles Mergers & Acquisitions Department where he was responsible for the firm's mergers and acquisitions activities in the western United States. From August 2005 until February 2009, he served as the United States Ambassador to the Italian Republic and the Republic of San Marino. Ambassador Spogli rejoined the Firm in June 2009. Ambassador Spogli earned a bachelor's degree with great distinction from Stanford University in 1970, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and a master's degree in business administration with honors from Harvard University in 1975.
