Joelle Belmonte

Joelle Belmonte has a diverse work experience in the field of design and project management. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Lead Web Designer and Webmaster for Helpguide.org. Joelle then served as a Web Designer for Vision Internet from 2007 to 2009 and as a Web Designer for Media Mezcla Campaign Engine from 2009 to 2010. In 2011, they became an Art Director at Acxiom before transitioning to the role of Senior Interactive Designer at SolutionSet from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2013, Joelle worked as a Creative Director at Catch, where they redesigned the user experience and visuals for the app. Joelle then joined California Academy of Sciences in 2015 as a Product and UX Designer for the iNaturalist app. Since 2013, Joelle has been an Interior Designer, Home Concierge, and Renovation Project Manager, working closely with clients to enhance the value of their homes through interior and exterior alterations. In 2021, they joined Freemodel as an Interior Designer and Project Director.

Joelle Belmonte's education history begins with their completion of Elementary School at the Academy of the Sacred Heart ~ Chicago from 1984 to 1992. Joelle then obtained their High School Diploma from St. Ignatius College Preparatory School between 1992 and 1996, where they focused on College Prep. Following this, Joelle attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 1997 to 1998, where they completed a foundation art program. In 1998, they enrolled at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and graduated in 2001 with a B.S. in Communications. During their time at Syracuse University, Joelle specialized in Commercial Photography and concentrated in Graphic Design, while also minoring in Art History. Recently, in 2017, they studied Construction Management at the City College of San Francisco. Additionally, Joelle obtained a certification in Residential Electrical Wiring from the same institution in May 2017.
