Lara Richmond

Design and Project Manager at Freemodel

Lara Richmond has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 1997, they worked at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences as a Laboratory Manager in the Department of Pharmacology. In 2007, they established their own business, Richmond Interiors, where they worked as an Interior Designer and Business Owner until 2014.

From 2017 to 2018, Lara served as the Luxury Projects Manager and Account Manager at Renovation Angel, overseeing high-end projects and managing accounts. Lara then joined Ethan Allen Global, Inc. in 2018, where they held various roles including Design Project Manager, Senior Design Center Manager, and District Design Manager until 2021.

In 2019, Lara became a Certified Continuing Education Instructor at the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), providing educational courses to interior designers. Lara also took on the role of Co-organizer for the Interior Design SF Meetup Group in 2020, organizing events and facilitating networking opportunities.

Currently, Lara holds the position of Design and Project Manager at Freemodel, starting from May 2021.

Lara Richmond's education history includes multiple degrees and studies in various fields. From 2003 to 2005, they attended The George Washington University, where they focused on Interior Design and Architecture. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1997, they pursued a Master's degree in Physical and Biological Anthropology at Stony Brook University. Their academic journey began at Rice University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology/Pre-Med.
