Alexandra Buckley

Alexandra Buckley is a seasoned computational biologist with extensive experience in data science and bioinformatics. Currently serving as a Senior Computational Biologist at Freenome since February 2023, Alexandra previously held positions as a Senior Data Scientist at Veranome Biosystems LLC and a Data Scientist at Invitae, where contributions included developing data pipelines and enhancing data accessibility. Earlier roles at Vertex Pharmaceuticals involved creating innovative analysis pipelines for genomic data, while experience at Helix focused on improving bioinformatics workflows. Alexandra earned a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from UC San Diego and a BS in Neuroscience from the University of Scranton. Additional skills include mentoring in diversity programs and coordinating graduate student events.
