Peter Combs

Peter Combs is a Senior Computational Biologist at Freenome, with prior experience as a Bioinformatics Scientist/Engineer at Invitae, where work focused on variant interpretation, and as a Bioinformatics Scientist in Dry Lab Operations. Combs was a Staff Research Scientist at Stanford University, contributing to the development of a novel differential allele-specific expression approach and enhancing the lab's computational practices. A PhD candidate in Biophysics at UC Berkeley, Combs researched spatial resolution in RNAseq techniques, while earlier roles included teaching assistance in science and programming, field organizing for a political campaign, and conducting undergraduate research at Princeton University.
