Tanya Moreno

Tanya Moreno has a diverse work experience in the field of molecular research and development. Tanya currently holds the position of Vice President of Molecular Research at Freenome since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Scientific Advisor at TriAxia Health, Inc. starting in September 2019. Tanya also had a notable role as Chief Scientific Officer at Cradle Genomics from July 2022 to March 2023, and as the Vice President of Development from March 2020 to August 2022. Tanya served as the Chief Science Officer at Wamberg Genomic Advisors from 2019 to 2020. Before that, Tanya held the position of Vice President of Research and Development at Millennium Health from 2017 to 2019, and as Vice President of Genetics Research and Development from 2014 to 2017. Tanya also had extensive experience at Pathway Genomics Corporation, where they worked as the Vice President of Clinical Sciences, Research and Development in 2014, as the Vice President of Research and Development from 2012 to 2014, as the Director of Research and Development from 2009 to 2012, and as a Senior Scientist from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, Tanya worked as a Scientist at TorreyPines Therapeutics from 2007 to 2008, and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies from 2002 to 2007.

Tanya Moreno holds a PhD in Biology from Caltech and a BA in Chemistry/Biochemistry from UC San Diego. Additionally, they obtained a certification as an MB(ASCP) CM from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) in August 2009.
