Alfonso Martinez-Larraz Solis

Alfonso Martinez-Larraz Solis is a seasoned Data Scientist with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and data processing. Currently employed at Freepik Company since April 2022, Alfonso focuses on image and text processing applications. Prior to this role, Alfonso worked at INECO from May 2020 to April 2022 on natural language processing projects for the Ministry of Justice, and at HM Hospitales as a Deep Learning researcher from June 2018 to March 2022, where work involved segmenting organs in medical imaging using convolutional neural networks. Previously, Alfonso was a Data Scientist at Tileo, specializing in image treatment through machine learning and deep learning algorithms and traditional computer vision techniques. Alfonso also served as a Tenured Professor at Montero Espinosa from September 2005 to January 2020, teaching statistical subjects across various university programs and managing IT systems for the company. Alfonso holds a Licenciatura en Matemáticas from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
