Bryan Caviness

Bryan Caviness possesses extensive experience in the commodities and finance sectors, currently serving as Director of Credit and Principal Investments at Freepoint Commodities since April 2011, following roles as Senior Vice President of Credit. Previously, Bryan was Team Leader for Business Development at Fitch Ratings, where responsibility included expanding North American corporate rating relationships. Additional executive positions include Vice President of Credit at RBS Sempra Commodities and Senior Vice President for Oil & Gas at DBRS, where Bryan led ratings for numerous companies in the sector. Earlier experience encompasses leadership roles at Fitch Ratings, overseeing ratings for North American energy companies, as well as coordinating capital investments at Michelin and various engineering and finance positions at Amoco Oil Company. Bryan holds a Master of Management in Entrepreneurship and Finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
