Pete Steer

Pete Steer has extensive work experience in the field of sustainability and recycling. Pete currently holds the position of VP Plastics Origination at Freepoint Eco-Systems since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Inclusion Companies as a Sustainable Supply Chain professional from April 2022 to September 2022. From 2018 to 2022, Pete served as the Senior Buyer of recycled plastics at a Major Recycling Processor. Pete also worked at Nestle Waters from 2008 to 2018, initially as the Director of Recycling Operations and later as a CRM Project member. Additionally, Pete published a book called "Catalytic Thinking" in 2008, focusing on generating breakthrough ideas and increasing individual creative output. Before joining Nestle Waters, they served as the Director of Employee Development at Nestlé Waters from 1992 to 1998.

Pete Steer earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Ithaca College, where they studied from 1979 to 1982. Pete later pursued an MBA in Marketing at UConn from 1988 to 1990.
